ST.MORIZ // ST.TROPEZ - WHO OWNS IT !

Since it's the summer, which only means one thing...Suns out, Guns out ! I thought that I'd do a lil' post regarding the two most talked about Fake Tan brands, St.Tropez & St.Moriz.
I've been through my fair share of fake-tans in my lifetime, had numerous amounts of disasters, once mistaken for a fruit, another for something off Charlie & the Chocolate Factory but.....I'd rather whap out the fake tan any day than spend hours in the sun, even though my dad tells me "You need your vitamin D Lauren".
It's just something about having a tan which makes you look & feel healthier.
Once you Fake Tan, you never go back!

Both the St.Moriz & St.Tropez come in a pretty standard tube, the ST.Moriz holding 200ml compared to the St.Tropez only holding 120ml in the bottle that I bought. However, I find you are paying for the quality rather than the quantity with St.Moriz costing only £4.99 (Buy here) & St.Tropez costing £20.50 (Buy Here)
(Left is the St.Tropez, Right is the St.Moriz.)
I find the Mousse to be most desirable, personally finding it much more effortless to apply than any other Faketan choices e.g Creams/Sprays
As seen on the picture, St.Tropez has a much more rich golden undertone, however the St.Moriz looks much more washed out and faded with an orange undertone which is what I find when I apply it.
They both have a distinct smell, but nothing too overpowering.
You can clearly notice which Fake tan is of higher quality texture by the way it spreads on the body when first applying to the skin. I find you need to apply multiple times within the week to build up your tan.
Preperation is key! I use the St.Tropez Prep & Maintain Tan Eraser Mitt (Buy Here).. I ensure I moisturize the key areas which are more prone to dry skin, such as hands, knees, elbows & feet. After waiting for the moisturizer to set, I pump on the Fake tan and apply it from my shoulder downwards, leaving the face until last.
I find if I Prep beforehand then the faketan will last a longer time, without leaving the dreaded streaks which look like a dreaded skin disorder!

DEPOP // BARGAIN HAUL

These Killer heels are my life!!!If you can handle heels, I'd highly recommend these. I really can't get enough of the 5" heel these shoes offer. After stalking the Jeffrey campbell Skully Shoes (Click Here) & finding out they are all out of stock, I resorted to Depop where I found these gorgeous River Island dupes.
Depop Price: £30
River Island Price: £70

I'm usually the one to use hands rather than brushes (no innuendo), however I am rather glad I crept across these gorgeous Real techniques brushes on Depop. I have been eyeing these brushes up for year & finally managed to get my hands on some at a discounted price! The brushes are so soft & I find that these brushes do not rob you of any product, applying the products evenly, e.g foundation.
I find the contour brush and foundation brush the most versatile, I would advise if you didn't want to buy the whole set, those two brushes will do perfectly!
Depop Price: £14
LookFantastic Price : £20.99 Click here

If you don't already know, I adore red lipsticks (dark to light)  literally any shade! I have owned my fair share of Mac Lipsticks, from Ruby Woo to Velvet Teddy. However, Lady Danger is the one I'm married to, my holy grail, the one  I can't live without! I think its the way it can change your face in a flash, making a bold statement anywhere you go. I wear this everyday & don't plan on stop wearing it, unless another Mac lipstick catches my eye (again).
Depop Price: £9.50
Mac Price: £15.50 Click here
Whilst I was on the hunt for a new contour kit, I came across this peach bombshell. The Revlon Photoready Skinlights is definitely one for the summer! It illuminates your skin, leaving you a gorgeous glow.
It is applied lightly, allowing the skin to breath which is what you need on a summers day.
I just dab a lil' on the bone cheeks to give my face a lift then I'm away!
Depop Price: £5
Boots Price : £11.99 click here

After a couple of bloops, okay I mean alot! I have finally uploaded my first ever youtube video woo (Well, Kind of). Nothing is ever perfect, that is still true even whilst using editing software, there is still alot to learn which is what I'm loving about blogging.
I decided instead of typing away my thoughts, why not just film them instead? So I did.
The video is simply my simple thoughts all about Depop
& what I managed to collect... xo

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS DIPBROW REVIEW

So this little beauty arrived today..
If you haven't already heard of the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand, I really don't know where you have been hiding. Everyone, and I mean everyone (even my mum) has heard of the mainstream makeup, be it on Instagram or Youtube. It is everywhere!! Maybe it's the way the product is packaged which gives it the real 5* experience of buying with the brand, or even just how detailed each and every nook and cranny is  but whatever it is, I found it to be worth every ££.
Two qualities I admire the most are the texture & how it is positioned beautifully into the tight fitting glass casing of the Beverly Hills. Clearly for those who love to spend a little extra on the brand and stylish aesthetics.
The golden and black glossy ABH logo screams classiness and elegance from a mile away! No wonder it is so popular.
The Dipbrow Pomade comes in a variety of shades & colours from Taupe to Ebony giving you the perfect eyebrows every single time! It literally took me days to find out what shade I would match, even contemplating buying but thought why not? Can always sell on depop for the other Anastasia lovers. I can even go out confidently with little to bare makeup as the Anastasia dip tranforms  my look in an instance. A little glide of the gorgeous Ash dip really does go a long way I find...
You don't necessarily need to buy the Anastasia brush, I already owned my own eyebrow brush which seems to do the job fine, however if you are not on a tight budget guess it wouldn't hurt to buy as a set.
I bought mine from Beauty Bay which means Free delivery over £15, Bonus! X
